Content Creator

As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for ideating, filming, and editing short-form video content for Vello Labs Sdn. Bhd. You will turn trends, creative briefs, and strong hooks into engaging content that drives real audience engagement and growth.

This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who is passionate about social media, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and enjoys creating content that gets attention and performs.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, film, edit, and publish short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms.
• Develop creative content ideas, hooks, scripts, and concepts based on current trends and platform formats.
• Create content for Vello Labs' brand campaigns while maintaining consistency with the Company's brand identity.
• Appear on camera and present content confidently when required.
• Edit videos using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools, including captions, sound, transitions, and visual effects.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Creator teams on campaign concepts, content calendars, and creative direction.
• Stay updated on social media trends, viral formats, trending sounds, and emerging content styles.
• Monitor content performance, including views, watch time, engagement, and audience response, and use these insights to improve future content.

Requirements

• Previous experience creating short-form video content. Please include a portfolio, TikTok, Instagram, or other relevant work samples.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and presenting content.
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, CapCut Pro, Premiere Pro, or similar.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, content formats, and audience behaviour.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and adapt content for different audiences.
• Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to manage multiple content tasks and meet fast turnaround times.
• Willing to work on-site at our Kajang office.

Added Advantage

• Existing personal social media presence or following.
• Skills in photography, graphic design, motion graphics, or other visual content creation.
• Previous experience with UGC, content clipping, influencer marketing, or brand campaigns.
• Ability to create content in multiple languages or dialects.
