About the role

Burnsco is New Zealand's biggest retailer of marine and motorhome accessories. We are looking for a copywriter to join our Support Office team in Half Moon Bay Marina. Working closely with the marketing and product teams, you'll help deliver top-quality written content across the business. Day to day, you'll be loading products into our systems, writing clear and engaging product descriptions, and making sure our product information is consistent and accurate across every range.

Key responsibilities

• Loading new products into our systems
• Writing engaging copy for use on our website, EDMs, and other marketing materials
• Improving product descriptions for the website and ensuring product specifications are up to date
• Researching and writing educational blogs
• Optimising content for SEO
• Proofreading marketing materials
• Co-ordinating product images

About you

• Excellent writing skills with strong spelling and grammar
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good computer skills, Excel experience is preferred
• SEO experience is preferred
• A background in boating, fishing or RVs
