About the role

We are seeking a talented Content Creator to join our Marketing & Communications team at KY MAJU MART SDN.BHD. This is a full-time position based in Kuantan, Pahang. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing, producing and managing compelling content across various digital platforms and channels. Your role will be integral to building our brand presence, engaging our audience and driving meaningful conversations with our customers. You will work closely with our marketing team to ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

1. Creating engaging and original content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant channels
2. Producing high-quality visual and written content, including graphics, videos, blogs and copy that resonates with our target audience
3. Planning and executing content calendars that align with marketing campaigns and seasonal initiatives
4. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop content strategies that support brand awareness and customer engagement
5. Monitoring content performance using analytics tools and adjusting strategies based on insights and feedback
6. Conducting research on industry trends, competitor content and audience preferences to inform creative decisions
7. Editing and optimising content for different platforms and formats to maximise reach and engagement
8. Managing community interactions and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
9. Staying updated with digital marketing trends and platform algorithm changes to keep content fresh and relevant

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Specialist or similar marketing communications role
2. Strong proficiency in content creation tools and software, including video editing, graphic design and social media management platforms
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messaging
4. Demonstrated ability to create engaging content for multiple platforms and audience segments
5. Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends and best practices
6. Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure content performance and derive actionable insights
7. Creative mindset with the ability to generate original ideas and think outside the box
8. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
9. Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing tools is advantageous
10. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field is preferred
