Siemens Electrification & Automation is looking for an experienced Content Creator to join our national Marketing team for a six-month fixed-term opportunity. You’ll work alongside experienced marketing professionals and technical specialists, creating content that showcases our technologies, people and solutions across some of Australia’s most important industries.

From power and renewable energy to data centres, mining, infrastructure and defence, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio and see your content connect with a broad range of customers and audiences.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate contribution, bring your ideas to the table and play an important part in shaping how we communicate our story.

What you’ll do

• Bring the Siemens tone of voice, messaging, terminology and brand story to life across multiple channels.

• Coordinate the content calendar across trade publications, industry events, social media and broader marketing activity.

• Write and edit engaging content including web copy, social media, newsletters, presentations, brochures, product content, editorials and customer case studies.

• Transform complex technical information into clear, compelling content without compromising accuracy or credibility.

• Develop original content that reflects our brand while connecting with the needs and interests of different audiences.

• Coordinate content reviews, approvals, version control and distribution across internal teams.

• Develop scripts, briefs and content outlines for animation, video, interviews and short-form social content, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer.

• Use audience insights and performance data to understand what resonates and continually improve our content.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an experienced and confident content professional with 5+ years’ experience who can step into a fast-moving B2B environment and make an impact quickly.

You’ll be someone who enjoys working with technical subject matter, asks the right questions, takes ownership of your work and knows how to bring different perspectives together to create great content.

You’ll have:

• Proven experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or in a similar role.

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and personas.

• Experience creating content across digital, social, email, video and print channels.

• A strong eye for detail and the ability to understand complex technical information and communicate it simply and effectively.

• An interest in technology, innovation and the industries we work with.

• The ability to use audience insights and performance data to strengthen content.

• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines.

• A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership and keep work moving.

• The ability to build strong relationships with technical experts, marketers and creative specialists.

• The flexibility to work independently while also being an engaged and collaborative member of a national team.

• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline would be advantageous.
