Content Creator

About the Role

R&D Technologies is looking for a creative, proactive and results-driven Content Creator to join our growing team.

We specialise in instant hot water solutions and are looking for someone who can bring our products to life through engaging, sales-focused content.

We're not just looking for someone who can create videos that get views. We want content that generates interest, enquiries and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, film and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.
• Create engaging product demonstrations and promotional videos.
• Develop creative content that highlights product benefits and encourages sales.
• Create social media graphics and promotional posts using Canva.
• Write compelling captions, hooks and calls to action.
• Work with our sales and technical teams to identify content opportunities.
• Maintain a consistent content calendar.
• Occasionally appear on camera for product demonstrations and promotional content.
• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in video content creation and editing.
• Proficiency in CapCut, Canva or similar tools.
• Good understanding of TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.
• Creative, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable appearing on camera when required.
• Ability to create content with a clear marketing and sales purpose.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.

A marketing or media-related qualification will be advantageous but is not essential.

What We Offer

• R7,500 monthly basic salary
• Permanent employment with a three-month probation period.
• Performance and salary review after three months.

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00
Workplace: Bellville, Cape Town (On-site)
