Content Creator

We’re a busy, growing auto body shop looking for a creative, hands-on Content Creator to help show off the quality of our work and bring in more local customers. You’ll create short-form videos, photos, and social media content featuring repairs, restorations, before-and-after transformations, customer stories, and behind-the-scenes shop life.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys filming, editing, storytelling, and turning real work into content that performs on TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and Google Business Profile.

What you’ll do

• Film and edit engaging short-form videos of vehicle repairs, paint jobs, collision repairs, detailing, and before/after transformations.
• Capture high-quality photos and videos in the shop using a smartphone or provided camera equipment.
• Write clear, attention-grabbing captions, hooks, and on-screen text.
• Post and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and Google Business Profile.
• Help grow local brand awareness, engagement, reviews, website traffic, and repair inquiries.
• Interview technicians, estimators, and customers when appropriate to create authentic shop content.
• Stay current with social media trends and adapt them to our shop’s brand and audience.
• Track basic performance metrics such as views, engagement, profile visits, calls, form fills, and leads.
• Help maintain a consistent brand look, tone, and posting schedule.
• Assist with simple website updates, blog posts, email content, or Google posts as needed.

What we’re looking for

• Experience creating and editing short-form video content for social media.
• Strong skills with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing tools.
• Comfortable filming on location in an active shop environment.
• Good eye for lighting, framing, pacing, captions, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a content calendar, and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of local SEO, Google Business Profile, or paid social is a plus.
• Interest in cars, automotive repair, restoration, detailing, or the collision industry is a major plus.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site at our shop.

Nice to have

• Experience with Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar scheduling tools.
• Basic Canva/Photoshop design skills.
• Experience creating content for service businesses, contractors, dealerships, detailers, or local brands.
• Familiarity with AI tools for captions, editing, thumbnails, or content planning.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 per week
