Content Creator

Role Description

The Content Creator will develop, produce, and publish engaging digital and print content that supports Webster University Tashkent’s academic programs, student life, and institutional initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing content for social media, the university website, newsletters, and marketing campaigns; coordinating with academic and administrative departments to gather information and stories; and adapting content to different audiences, platforms, and formats. The Content Creator will also assist with basic photo and video production, collaborate with designers and marketing staff to ensure brand consistency, and track content performance to inform future projects.

Qualifications

• Ability to create clear, engaging written content for web, social media, and print, with strong grammar, style, and attention to detail.
• Experience in planning and managing content calendars, aligning content with communication and marketing goals, and tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
• Competence in basic multimedia production, such as image editing, simple video creation or editing, and working with design and media teams.
• Familiarity with digital platforms and tools, including social media management, content management systems, and basic analytics to measure content effectiveness.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with faculty, staff, and students in a multicultural academic environment.
• A portfolio of previous content creation or copywriting work.
• Knowledge of photography and videography will be considered an asset.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Uzbek and/or Russian is an advantage.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and respond flexibly to changing priorities.
