The Vibe: At Coffee Republic, we’re on a quest to make cafes cool again. Somewhere along the line, coffee culture got a little too snobby and "bright white," and we are the proud antithesis of that. We’re all about colorful environments, pop art paintings, keeping things weird, and celebrating one-of-a-kind baristas who dress to express themselves. We currently operate 10 unique locations across North Carolina and the Washington D.C. (DMV) area. We also roast our own beans in-house at Disco Roasters. We serve up an energetic space where coffee meets community, complete with coworking spaces and an awesome "Almost Famous" kitchen menu.

The Gig:

We’re looking for a visionary, trend-obsessed Part-Time Content Creator to help us tell our story. We need someone with killer video, photography, and production skills to capture the energy of our shops, the art of our pours, and the soul of our community. If you know how to stop the scroll and want your work to be seen by coffee lovers everywhere, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Shoot & Snap: Capture high-quality, thumb-stopping video and photography across our cafes, highlighting our signature lattes, fresh bakery items, and vibrant spaces.
• Produce Like a Pro: Handle end-to-end content production—from brainstorming wild, out-of-the-box concepts to lighting, shooting, editing, and final delivery.
• Fuel the Feed: Create engaging short-form videos (TikToks, Reels) that showcase our unique brand aesthetic and our rotating seasonal drinks that bring quirky flavor pairings to life.
• Community Capture: Document our lively community events, coworking vibes, and the daily hustle of our espresso machines.

What You Bring to the Table

• Pro-Level Production Skills: Proven experience in photography, videography, and post-production editing (Premiere, Final Cut, Lightroom, or similar).
• An Eye for the Unconventional: You lean away from boring, minimalist aesthetics and thrive in colorful, expressive, and energetic visual storytelling.
• Social Savvy: You live on social media, understand current audio/visual trends, and know exactly what performs well online.
• Self-Starter Energy: You can manage your own production schedule, coordinate shoots, and deliver polished assets on time.
• Portfolio: A killer reel or portfolio that proves your creative chops and ability to tell a visual story.

Pay: $26.98 - $32.49 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
