Content Creator – Short-Form Video, On-Site

This role is ideal for a creative individual passionate about producing engaging short-form video content for social media platforms. Based in Scarborough, ON, you will play a key part in building a financial services brand’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You will be responsible for ideating, scripting, filming, and editing monthly batches of vertical videos, working closely with the team to ensure content aligns with industry standards and brand guidelines. The position requires on-site work at the Scarborough office, with each monthly session involving the creation of 10 videos in a single half-day shoot. Timely delivery and attention to detail are essential, as all scripts and final edits must be approved prior to posting.

Deliverables

• Develop creative video concepts and short scripts based on provided topics and direction
• Film 10 vertical short-form videos in one half-day monthly session at the Scarborough office
• Edit and deliver finished videos, including raw footage, captions, text overlays, and simple graphics
• Ensure all content meets brand and regulatory requirements, submitting scripts and final edits for approval
• Deliver all assets within seven days of each shoot

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience creating short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)
• Ability to film and edit high-quality vertical videos using your own basic filming equipment (camera or smartphone, tripod, microphone)
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and social media trends
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to work on-site in Scarborough, ON for monthly shoots
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deliver projects on schedule
• No finance industry experience required
