Content Creator VA

Job Summary:
We're excited to take on a seasoned Social Media Manager & Content Editor to hold full ownership of our social media presence and drive measurable audience growth. The position pairs hands-on video editing with content strategy, scheduled posting, community engagement, proactive outreach, and paid promotion across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. We want someone who has already grown accounts successfully and can show proven results — not someone still learning the ropes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape raw video footage into polished short-form content (Reels, Stories, TikToks) that sits with our established style and brand parameters
• Build and hold a content calendar covering steady posting at least 4-5 days per week
• Post content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, taking in caption writing and hashtag strategy
• Draw up and present a clear social media marketing plan with growth targets and platform-specific tactics
• Research and keep an eye on competitor accounts in the real estate space, tracking content formats, hooks, posting frequency, and what earns them engagement
• Gather competitor findings into regular summaries with actionable recommendations we can put to our own content
• Carry out proactive outreach across social platforms — engaging target audiences, local community accounts, and potential collaboration or referral partners
• Call out and approach relevant creators, local businesses, and industry accounts for cross-promotion opportunities
• Look after community engagement, replying to comments and direct messages promptly
• Set up and look after automation tools that trigger DMs or follow-ups off comment activity
• Plan, launch, and look after paid post boosting and social media ad campaigns
• Broaden our presence onto platforms where we currently have little or no activity
• Track performance metrics and report on follower growth, reach, outreach results, and lead generation
• Advise on content ideas, formats, and posting strategies drawn from platform algorithms and current trends

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven history of growing social media accounts, with a portfolio showing specific pages managed and results achieved
• Strong video editing skills for short-form content (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
• Hands-on time looking after Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn business accounts
• Time spent holding competitor and market research, and turning findings into content decisions
• Comfortable with proactive outreach and direct messaging to build connections and partnerships
• Time spent building and looking after content calendars and scheduling tools
• Working knowledge of paid social advertising and post boosting
• Ability to build a social media strategy on your own and present it clearly
• Strong copywriting skills for captions, social posts, and outreach messages
• Dependable, precise, and able to work with little supervision
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English

Preferred Skills:

• Time spent with real estate, property, or lifestyle content
• Familiarity with real estate social media trends, agent branding, and property content formats
• History of building outreach or partnership lists and tracking them in a spreadsheet or CRM
• Familiarity with DM automation tools (ManyChat or similar) and AI-assisted engagement workflows
• Graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools
• Time spent turning up leads or inquiries directly through social media
• Capacity to carry several platforms and projects side by side
• Appetite for growing into a wider position covering client communication and scheduling
