What they need

Content Creator / Videographer - Intern (social media)

Head Space Distribution + Lifted Lemonade
Las Cruces, NM | On-Site | Paid Internship | Flexible Schedule

About the Role

There is always something happening at our headquarters.

One day our production team is making a new product. The next, a delivery is getting loaded, the lab is working on something new, our graphic designers are developing packaging, or the sales team is preparing for a launch.

We want someone who captures it.

Head Space Distribution and Lifted Lemonade are looking for a Content Creator Intern to become the eyes and ears of our brands inside our Las Cruces headquarters.

This isn't an internship where you'll spend the entire day sitting behind a desk.

We want someone naturally curious and outgoing. The kind of person who walks into a room, says hello, asks "What are you working on?", and recognizes when something happening around them could make great content.

You'll work across our facility to capture the people, processes, products, and everyday moments that make our brands what they are, then turn those moments into engaging short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

About Us

Head Space Distribution is a New Mexico-based cannabis manufacturer and distributor working across product development, manufacturing, distribution, and white-label partnerships for cannabis brands throughout the state.

Lifted Lemonade is our hemp-derived THC beverage brand, creating real lemonade made with real lemons, cane sugar, and hemp-derived Delta-9 THC. From production and distribution to retail, events, and brand activations, we're building Lifted across multiple markets.

Both brands operate from our Las Cruces headquarters, where a lot happens under one roof: production, laboratory work, inventory, fulfillment, graphic design, sales, marketing, product development, and more.

That's where you come in.

There are stories happening throughout the facility every day, and we're looking for someone who wants to find and capture them.

What You'll Do

  • Move throughout the facility regularly to discover and capture what's happening across production, laboratory, inventory, graphic design, sales, delivery, marketing, and other teams.
  • Build relationships with employees so you know what's happening and when there's something worth capturing.
  • Film authentic behind-the-scenes moments, processes, employees, products, and company culture.
  • Ask employees questions and conduct casual, on-camera interviews.
  • Be comfortable getting on camera yourself when the content calls for it.
  • Identify content opportunities independently rather than waiting to be given a shot list.
  • Capture video using company-provided iPhone, Meta glasses, and studio equipment.
  • Edit footage into engaging vertical short-form videos using CapCut and/or Instagram Edits.
  • Create approximately 3–5 finished short-form videos each week.
  • Build and maintain an organized library of usable raw footage for future content.
  • Prepare completed content for internal review and approval before publication.
  • Keep up with short-form video trends and bring new concepts, formats, hooks, and ideas to the team.
  • Capture content for both Head Space Distribution and Lifted Lemonade while learning how to maintain the personality of each brand.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need years of professional experience. We're more interested in finding someone with the right instincts and personality.

You might be a great fit if:

  • You're currently pursuing a degree or recently graduated in marketing, digital media, film, communications, graphic design, journalism, or a related field.
  • You're a people person who is comfortable introducing yourself and talking to people throughout the organization.
  • You're naturally curious and aren't afraid to ask, "What are you guys doing?"
  • You notice interesting moments other people might walk past.
  • You're comfortable filming people while they're working.
  • You're confident enough to jump in front of the camera when needed.
  • You understand what makes a TikTok, Reel, or Short interesting to watch.
  • You have experience filming and editing vertical video, even if that experience comes primarily from your own social media.
  • You can edit using CapCut, Instagram Edits, or similar mobile editing software.
  • You're proactive and don't need someone constantly telling you what to film.
  • You can take a rough idea and figure out how to turn it into content.
  • You're organized enough to manage a growing library of video footage.
  • You're comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where plans can change quickly.

What Success Looks Like

After a few months, we don't just want more social media posts.

We want to be able to see and feel what's happening inside our brands.

Our audience should get to know the people behind the products, see how things are made, understand what happens behind the scenes, and experience the personality and culture of Head Space and Lifted Lemonade.

You'll know you're succeeding when employees start coming to you and saying:

"Hey, you should come film this."

What We Provide

  • Paid internship
  • Flexible scheduling designed to work around school
  • Company-provided iPhone for content creation
  • Meta smart glasses for POV content
  • Access to a full content studio and production equipment
  • Hands-on experience creating content for established cannabis and hemp brands
  • Exposure to multiple sides of the business, including production, branding, laboratory operations, sales, logistics, and product development
  • Portfolio-building opportunities with real-world brand content

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to work on-site at our Las Cruces, New Mexico headquarters
  • Comfortable working around legal cannabis and hemp products
  • Basic short-form video filming and editing experience
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased products, internal operations, and proprietary information

To Apply

  • Email [email protected]
  • Send your resume and/or portfolio
  • Provide your social media handles or accounts you've run
  • Include 2–3 examples of short-form content you've created.

These don't need to be professional client projects. TikToks, Reels, school projects, personal content, or other videos you've created are welcome.

We're interested in seeing how you shoot, edit, tell a story, and find interesting moments.
