About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Creator/New Media to join our Marketing & Communications team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in building and maintaining MBF AUTOMOBILE's digital presence across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality content that resonates with our target audience and supports our brand objectives. This role is essential in driving our digital marketing strategy and establishing thought leadership in the automotive industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce engaging content across digital platforms including social media, blogs, videos, and interactive media to drive brand awareness and customer engagement
• Create compelling visual and written content that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing campaign objectives
• Manage and optimise content calendars to ensure consistent and timely publication across all digital channels
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content strategy
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and communications teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign execution
• Monitor content performance metrics and analytics to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements
• Engage with online communities and manage conversations across social media platforms to foster brand loyalty
• Produce multimedia content including photography, videography, infographics, and animations where applicable
• Support the development of content strategies for new marketing campaigns and product launches
• Stay updated with emerging digital trends, platforms, and tools to keep content fresh and innovative

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, or new media, ideally within the automotive or consumer-focused industry
• Strong proficiency in content management systems and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube)
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and audiences
• Creative thinking with a keen eye for visual design and multimedia production
• Experience with video editing software and graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights from content performance
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with automotive industry trends and consumer behaviour is advantageous
