Content Curator - TDB Network

Job Overview

TDB Network is looking for a Content Curator to help us find, organize, and develop the clips and stories that fuel our YouTube content.

We’re looking for somebody who stays tapped into the internet and knows how to find the stuff people actually want to watch — breaking news, viral clips, trending stories, interviews, social media moments, business news, entertainment, sports, internet culture, and everything in between.

What You’ll Do

• Research YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Reddit, news sites, and other platforms for relevant content.
• Find news clips, viral videos, trending stories, interviews, and potential story leads.
• Monitor what’s trending and identify stories that could perform well on TDB Network.
• Gather original source links and organize clips for our production team.
• Create daily content lists with the most interesting stories and clips you find.
• Provide a quick summary of why each story is worth covering.
• Track developing stories and update the team when new information or footage becomes available.
• Help build a searchable library of clips, sources, and story ideas.
• Work with our content/production team to turn research into YouTube videos, Shorts, compilations, and other content.

We Want Someone Who…

• Is constantly online and naturally knows what’s trending.
• Has strong research and internet-search skills.
• Can recognize a good story before it becomes oversaturated.
• Has good judgment when deciding what is worth covering.
• Moves fast and can work independently.
• Is organized and doesn’t lose track of sources or clips.
• Understands YouTube and social media culture.
• Can separate actual news from rumors, misinformation, and recycled content.
• Has an eye for clips that could make a strong video or Short.

Video editing experience is a plus, but not required.

This Is NOT a Traditional News Job

You don’t need to be a journalist.

We’re looking for somebody with good instincts.

If you’re the person in your group chat always dropping the newest video, saying “Yo, did y’all see this?” - you might actually be exactly who we’re looking for.

Your job is to find the signal in all the internet noise.

Pay: $47.46 - $57.16 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 25.0 per week
