Content Designer

We're seeking Content Designers and Information Architecture specialists to join our team for an initial 4 month contract to assist with upcoming digital transformation and service improvement engagements.

These opportunities will focus on helping organisations structure complex information into clear, intuitive and user-centred experiences that improve usability, findability and comprehension.

About the Role

Working within multidisciplinary Human-Centred Design teams, you'll collaborate with researchers, service designers, business stakeholders and delivery teams to shape content structures and information ecosystems that support better user outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop information architectures, content structures and navigation models.
• Translate research findings and user insights into clear content frameworks.
• Improve content usability, findability and overall user experience.
• Create site maps, taxonomies and content hierarchies.
• Analyse existing content and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with user researchers and service designers throughout discovery and design activities.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement activities where required.
• Contribute to accessibility and inclusive design outcomes.

We're Looking For

• Baseline Security Clearance as a minimum
• Strong experience in Content Design, Information Architecture or UX Content Strategy.
• Experience structuring complex information into intuitive experiences.
• Demonstrated understanding of user-centred design principles.
• Ability to synthesise research findings into actionable content recommendations.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary product, design or transformation teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Government or highly regulated industry experience is desirable.

• Experience with large-scale website or service redesigns.
• Human-Centred Design (HCD) experience.
• Accessibility and inclusive design knowledge.
• Experience supporting discovery and transformation programs.
