About the Role

Ativeera Strategic Advisors is looking for a Content & Media Coordinator who understands content beyond writing and has practical knowledge of media shoots, camera positioning, artist coverage, visual storytelling, and shoot planning.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with artists, photographers, videographers, and media personnel and should understand how to plan and capture content effectively during shoots, events, interviews, and artist appearances.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with artists, photographers, videographers, and media personnel during shoots and events.
• Understand the objective of a shoot and identify what needs to be covered and captured.
• Guide or coordinate on camera positioning, angles, framing, and shot requirements to ensure the artist/content is captured effectively.
• Identify important moments, expressions, interactions, performances, and activities that should be covered during a shoot.
• Prepare basic shoot plans, shot lists, and content requirements before shoots.
• Work with the media team to ensure required photographs, videos, interviews, and other content are captured.
• Understand different content requirements such as close-ups, wide shots, artist interactions, behind-the-scenes moments, event coverage, and key highlights.
• Coordinate on-site during shoots to ensure important content is not missed.
• Review captured content and identify whether the required shots and moments have been covered.
• Maintain coordination between the creative/content team and media/production team.
• Assist in developing ideas for artist-focused and visual content based on the requirement of the project.
• Keep track of shoot requirements, deliverables, and content received from the media team.

Required Skills

• Practical understanding of photography/video shoots and camera angles.
• Ability to understand visual composition, framing, and shot requirements.
• Good understanding of artist/media coverage and what content needs to be captured during an appearance or shoot.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with photographers, videographers, artists, and media professionals.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work on-site during shoots and events.
• Ability to plan and organize content requirements before a shoot.
• Creative mindset with an understanding of visual storytelling.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms is useful, but this role is not primarily a social media content-writing position.

Who We Are Looking For

A candidate who can look at a shoot and think:

“What needs to be captured, from which angle, at what moment, and how do we make sure we don't miss the important content?”

Candidates with exposure to media production, artist management, photography/videography coordination, entertainment, events, fashion, digital media, or content production will be preferred.

Experience

6 Months – 2 Years

Freshers with strong practical exposure to shoots/media production may also be considered.
