Content Editor

Sierra Select is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Remote Content Editor to create, edit, and maintain high-quality content across our digital and marketing channels. This role will help ensure that product information, marketing materials, website content, and communications are accurate, engaging, consistent, and aligned with the Sierra Select brand.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, proofread, and optimize website, product, marketing, and promotional content.
• Review product descriptions, specifications, catalogs, dealer materials, and other business content for accuracy.
• Edit content for grammar, spelling, clarity, tone, consistency, and readability.
• Develop and refine product-focused copy for consumer electronics, outdoor living, appliances, and related product categories.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, and other teams to develop content that supports business objectives.
• Ensure product information and messaging remain accurate and up to date.
• Assist with email campaigns, newsletters, social media content, blogs, and promotional materials.
• Apply SEO best practices to relevant website and digital content.
• Maintain consistent brand voice and editorial standards across content.
• Organize and manage content revisions, approvals, and publishing schedules.
• Research products, competitors, industry trends, and customer interests to support content development.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing content and customer-facing communications.
• Perform final quality checks before content is published or distributed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in content editing, copywriting, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent grammar, proofreading, and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to simplify technical or product information into clear, engaging content.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
• Experience with website content management systems and digital publishing tools.
• Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, and digital communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
• Comfortable collaborating with remote and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with consumer electronics, technology, appliances, outdoor living, or distribution is a plus.
