Key responsibilities

Website, SEO and content

  • Create and maintain website content across our brands.
  • Improve organic search performance through keyword research, content planning, on-page SEO and regular content updates.
  • Write product pages, category content, case studies, Learning Hub articles, technical explainers and campaign landing pages.
  • Keep website content accurate, current, clear and consistent with each brand’s positioning.
  • Identify content gaps and recommend practical improvements to website journeys and lead capture.

Campaign and product-launch support

  • Develop content for product launches, promotions, merchant activity, trade activity and seasonal campaigns.
  • Turn product features, customer questions and sales feedback into clear customer-facing material.
  • Produce lead-generation resources such as guides, checklists, comparison tools, forms and downloadable content.
  • Support case studies and project stories from initial briefing through to publication.
  • Maintain campaign content once live, including follow-up emails, website updates and social posts.

Email marketing and lead nurture

  • Build and send EDMs for merchants, specifiers and homeowners.
  • Create email nurture journeys that guide prospects from initial interest to enquiry.
  • Segment audiences with support from the Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Test subject lines, content, calls to action and send timing to improve engagement and conversion.

Social media and content calendar

  • Manage social media channels and maintain a forward content calendar.
  • Plan, write, schedule and publish posts that promote products, campaigns, projects and useful industry content.
  • Coordinate imagery, video and design requirements with internal and external creative partners.
  • Monitor channel performance and use results to improve future content.

Cross-functional coordination and reporting

  • Work with Product, Sales and Design teams to gather information, stories, technical detail and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate content requirements with designers, agencies, suppliers and other external partners.
  • Track and report on website traffic, SEO performance, leads, email results, social engagement and campaign outcomes.
  • Keep content projects organised, on schedule and aligned with agreed marketing priorities.

General marketing support

  • From time to time, support the Marketing Manager with other marketing projects and activities as required.

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in content marketing, digital marketing, communications or a similar role.
  • Strong writing and editing ability, with the ability to explain technical products in plain language.
  • Experience managing website content and SEO activity.
  • Experience creating email campaigns and automated nurture journeys.
  • Working knowledge of social media management and content scheduling.
  • Confidence using analytics tools to measure traffic, leads, engagement and conversions.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience in building products, interiors, trade, retail or B2B marketing is preferred.

Personal qualities

  • Commercially minded and focused on work that generates useful customer interest.
  • Curious about products, customers and how people make purchase decisions.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of a content plan and following work through to publication.
  • Able to work independently, while communicating clearly with a range of internal teams.
  • Detail-focused, practical and reliable.

Measures of success

  • Consistent publication of useful content across websites, email and social channels.
  • Growth in organic website traffic and qualified lead volume.
  • Improved email engagement, nurture performance and campaign conversion.
  • Stronger product-launch and campaign follow-up.
  • Accurate, current and customer-focused website content across each brand.
