About the role

We are seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to join the team. This is a full-time position that sits at the heart of the marketing strategy. As Content Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, creating, and managing compelling content across multiple channels that drives engagement and builds brand authority in line with the company strategy.

The role assists the Marketing Team Leader and Revenue Manager in creating the content calendar, then owns maintaining and implementing it so social, EDM, website and campaign content is produced and published on schedule. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the marketing success of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-quality, engaging content across multiple formats including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, social media content, email campaigns, and video scripts

• Generate the content calendar alongside the Marketing Team Leader and Revenue Manager, in line with marketing strategy, then maintain and implement it

• Develop campaign content, and coordinate campaign execution

• Create and execute EDM content and campaigns

• Optimise content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic

• Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights

• Write and maintain website content and articles

• Develop sales and Marketing content that supports the sales team

• Maintain brand voice and messaging guidelines across all content initiatives

• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in content marketing

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or a related marketing or digital role or a marketing coordinator position

• Proven ability to create compelling, engaging content across multiple formats and platforms

• Experience of SEO principles and best practices for content optimisation

• Hands-on experience managing social media channels and running EDM campaigns

• Experience with content management systems (CMS)

• Working knowledge of Hubspot preferred or other marketing automation CRM platforms

• Proficiency in analytics tools to measure content performance and inform strategy adjustments

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail with the ability to turn customer conversations into engaging content

• Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Organised, deadline-driven, and comfortable owning a content calendar and multiple campaigns at once

• Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative content ideas

• Confident engaging with Sales teams and customers to source stories and insight

• Flexibility to travel between branches as required
