Love creating content that gets noticed?

We're looking for a Content Producer to join Stuff’s Commercial Content Team and help some of New Zealand’s biggest brands tell stories that connect with audiences across our leading news, magazine and social platforms.

No two days are the same - you'll move between writing, editing and production to create polished, error-free sponsored content across thepress.co.nz, thepost.co.nz, thewaikatotimes.co.nz, our Neighbourly News sites and social channels for our magazines. You'll also support content creation and production for print.

What you'll be doing

• Turn advertiser briefs into engaging, on-brand digital content, and generate ideas and reverse-brief story concepts that help clients stand out
• Write, edit and proofread commercial copy in line with the Stuff style guide
• Check specs, test click-through URLs, and coordinate tracking pixels and PID details
• Manage client revisions and proofs through to sign-off
• Keep multiple campaigns moving to deadline, spotting and escalating any issues early
• Loading approved content live on site and working with design resource on print proofs
• Report on performance (page views, time on page, scroll depth), reconcile delivery against the insertion order, and use insights to inform content recommendations and optimisation

What you'll bring

• Strong digital writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a sharp eye for detail
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing workflows
• An understanding of digital ad specs, display units and third-party tracking
• Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, dashboards, social insights) and turning data into clear reporting
• Familiarity with social media specs and best practice
• Knowledge of the ASA Code and sponsored content disclosure requirements
• The ability to juggle multiple campaigns, advertisers and deadlines, and to work independently when needed
• A collaborative approach, working across the Commercial team, Sales, Operations and Account Management teams
• A genuine commitment to ethical, balanced, well-researched content, delivered on time and to spec
