About us:

QATE Group is a portfolio of UAE businesses spanning industrial and marine cargo safety, logistics, and healthcare. Our work happens on quaysides, vessels, yards and clinics. The best stories we have are out there, and we need someone to bring them back.

The role:

You will carry a story from site to screen: finding it, shooting it, writing it and editing it. You will spend real time in the field capturing the work as it happens. Then you will turn it into content that proves what our businesses can do. This role is for someone who is equally strong with words, a camera and an edit timeline.

What you will do

• Plan and run shoot days at yards, ports, vessels, industrial sites and healthcare facilities. Capture photos, videos and interviews efficiently in a single visit.

• ⁠Work with Operations teams to document significant projects from start to finish: the cargo, the constraint and how it was solved.

• ⁠Interview engineers, crews, clients and clinicians, and capture client testimonials at project completion.

• ⁠Write social content, case studies, blog articles, video scripts and leadership LinkedIn posts.

• ⁠Edit short-form video for Reels, Shorts and LinkedIn.

• ⁠Edit long-form project films, company films and explainers.

• ⁠Handle colour correction, audio clean-up, motion graphics, and English and Arabic subtitles.

• ⁠Produce multiple cut-downs and formats from each shoot.

• ⁠Turn around same-day content at events and launches.

• ⁠Maintain a well-organised asset library, tagged by business, service, date, location and consent status.

• ⁠Brief and coordinate freelance editors during peak periods.

• ⁠Follow site health and safety requirements on every shoot.

• ⁠Obtain written consent from anyone featured, and follow healthcare content and privacy regulations.

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years as a content creator, shooter-editor, multimedia journalist or similar.A portfolio that demonstrates writing, camera work and editing at a comparable standard.

• ⁠Excellent written English. Arabic is strongly preferred.

• ⁠Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.

• ⁠Confident shooting on mirrorless cameras and mobile, with clean audio capture.

• ⁠Comfortable working on quaysides, vessels and industrial sites, including early mornings and late nights.

• ⁠A UAE driving licence is preferred.

• ⁠Applicants will be asked to complete a short writing task as part of the selection process.

Pay: AED2,639.81 - AED3,000.00 per month
