Content Specialist

Job Summary

JD Nutanix is seeking a diligent and organized Technical Knowledge Management and Content Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, organizing, and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge resources to support our internal processes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical writing skills with a methodical approach to information management, an understanding of technical business processes, and a passion for creating content that is easy to find, understand, and use.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Develop clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including but not limited to: Use AI tools and AL-assisted content development techniques to support research, drafting, editing, summarization, and the creation of accurate, user-focused technical content, with appropriate human review and validation. Knowledge base articles, (FAQs, how-to guides, troubleshooting steps), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Training materials.

• Knowledge Management: Organize and maintain technical information within our knowledge management systems Confluence to ensure easy discoverability and accessibility.

• Content Updates and Maintenance: Regularly review, update, and retire documentation to keep content accurate, relevant, and aligned with current processes. Track content ownership, review cycles, and required updates. Identify content gaps, duplication, and opportunities for simplification.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) across BizTech and other cross-functional teams to gather information. Validate technical accuracy, process details, and audience relevance before publication.

• User Experience and Continuous Improvement: Understand the needs, roles, and use cases of target audiences. Design documentation that is intuitive, task-oriented, and effective for users with varying levels of technical knowledge. Gather and incorporate feedback from content users and stakeholders to continuously improve knowledge resources.

  Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2-4 years of experience in technical writing, content development, or knowledge management roles in a technology-driven environment.

• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct technical content for various audiences.

• Proficiency with common documentation tools and knowledge management platforms (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint etc).

• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and/or IT service management (ITSM) principles.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to details.

• Experience in using AI tools, analytics, or search behavior to improve knowledge content.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
