Content Specialist

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain content for blogs, articles, websites, social media, and video platforms.
• Research relevant topics, customer questions, industry trends, and keyword opportunities.
• Produce a minimum of 8 articles per month, including at least 1 cornerstone article.
• Create approximately 4 long-form and 12 short-form video scripts per month.
• Develop content ideas, headlines, hooks, titles, and content angles based on audience interests and search intent.
• Optimize existing content to improve relevance, search visibility, engagement, and performance.
• Use tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms to identify content and keyword opportunities.
• Monitor content performance through metrics such as rankings, traffic, views, engagement, and other relevant indicators.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Editing, and Production teams to ensure content is delivered according to campaign requirements.
• Maintain consistent brand voice, accuracy, grammar, formatting, and quality across all content.
• Organize content assignments and ensure deadlines and production schedules are met.
• Revise and improve content based on feedback, performance data, and changing marketing priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in Content Creation, Content Marketing, Content Writing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
• Working knowledge of SEO, keyword research, content optimization, and audience targeting.
• Experience with Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Experience creating different types of content, including articles, blogs, social media content, and video scripts.
• Ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of content planning, storytelling, headlines, and audience engagement.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Adaptable and open to feedback and revisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in solar energy, renewable energy, technology, construction, or home improvement is an advantage.
• Portfolio or samples of previous content work are highly preferred.
