Content Specialist - TECNO Indonesia

About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Specialist for TECNO Indonesia to join PT Transisi Mobile Indonesia's marketing and communications team. This is a full-time position based in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, creating and managing engaging content that drives brand awareness, customer engagement and sales for the TECNO brand across multiple platforms and channels. You will play a crucial part in shaping how TECNO communicates with its audience and building a strong brand presence in the Indonesian market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and create high-quality, compelling content across various formats including written articles, social media posts, video scripts, infographics and multimedia materials
• Plan and execute content strategies aligned with TECNO Indonesia's marketing objectives and brand guidelines
• Manage content calendars and coordinate content distribution across digital platforms, including social media, websites, blogs and email campaigns
• Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities and audience preferences to inform content creation and strategy
• Collaborate with marketing, design and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all communications
• Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to optimise engagement, reach and conversion rates
• Create engaging social media content and manage community interactions to build and nurture audience relationships
• Produce press releases, product announcements and other corporate communications materials
• Adapt and localise content for the Indonesian market whilst maintaining brand consistency
• Stay updated with industry developments, content trends and best practices in marketing communications

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in content creation and content marketing, preferably within the technology, mobile or consumer electronics industry
• Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms and content distribution strategies
• Proficiency in content management systems and digital marketing tools
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and develop engaging storytelling approaches
• Experience with multimedia content creation, including basic video editing and graphic design concepts
• Data-driven approach with ability to interpret analytics and optimise content performance
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple content initiatives simultaneously
• Fluency in both Indonesian and English is essential
• Knowledge of Indonesian consumer behaviour and market dynamics is highly desirable
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field
