Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Planning:

• Develop content strategies aligned with business and marketing objectives
• Translate business objectives, product priorities and campaign goals into relevant content opportunities
• Create monthly content themes, campaigns and content pillars
• Generate original content ideas based on audience insights, trends and platform performance
• Research emerging trends, formats and opportunities across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
• Contribute strategic recommendations during monthly marketing planning sessions

Content Creation & Production:

• Conceptualize, script, shoot, direct, edit and produce engaging short-form video content
• Create content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and other digital channels
• Participate in on-site product, lifestyle and campaign shoots
• Create supporting graphics, carousels and promotional creatives where required
• Ensure all content is platform-optimized and aligned with brand standards

Creative Direction & Quality Assurance:

• Drive the creative vision behind content produced
• Ensure consistency in storytelling, visual identity, tone and brand presentation
• Direct talent and participate in on-camera content where required
• Review content quality before submission, including audio, visuals, captions and overall execution
• Maintain an organised content asset library

Performance & Optimisation:

• Monitor content performance metrics including reach, engagement, watch time, retention and conversions
• Use performance data to improve future content direction and execution
• Recommend improvements based on audience behaviour and platform trends
• Support weekly and monthly content performance reviews

Campaign Support:

• Develop content assets for marketing campaigns and product promotions
• Produce creatives for paid advertising campaigns where required
• Support event coverage, activations and content-driven marketing initiatives

Requirements:

• OND in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication or a related field
• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in content creation, content strategy, social media or a related role
• Strong video shooting and editing skills
• Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software
• Canva proficiency and basic graphic design skills
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube content trends
• Strong storytelling, visual composition, and creative thinking abilities
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and meet deadlines
• Experience creating content for consumer, food, FMCG or lifestyle brands is an advantage
• Portfolio of previous work is mandatory
• Portfolio must include examples of short-form video content personally conceptualised and/or produced by the candidate
