Content Strategist (Intern)

About the role

Elevan August Media is looking for a capable Content Strategist (Intern) to join us in scaling up our business and strategically planning its expansion. You will gain an insider perspective on multiple industries and will be working with highly motivated and talented people who take great pride in the work they do.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise editorial and video content
• Create engaging/ storytelling image, Carousel for social media platforms
• Plan, script, film, edit, and publish videos, reels, and social media content
• Monitor social media trends and competitors to generate fresh content ideas
• Use AI tools to support content creation, copywriting, proofreading, and campaign ideas
• Support the marketing of media outlets by monitoring the results of content delivered on social media platforms using analytics tools to identify trends and key learnings
• Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments as required

About you

• Possess or currently studying for a Diploma/Degree in Media/Communications Studies or equivalent
• Avid user of at least 2 prominent social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok)
• At least one secondary skill including but not limited to writing, screenwriting, video production, photography, or design
• Strong interest in and passionate about creation and ideation of branded content
• Knowledge of Canva is a plus
• Can work both independently and in teams
• Proactive, with a positive and can-do attitude
• Able to commit to a minimum of a 24-week (6-month) internship
