Content Writer

About the role

Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) - Government is seeking an experienced Content Writer to join our team in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position, responsible for creating engaging and informative content to support our organisation's marketing and communication efforts.

What you'll be doing

• Develop compelling written content for a variety of digital and print platforms, including websites, blog posts, social media, brochures and other marketing materials
• Conduct research to gather and synthesize information on relevant industry topics
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align content with brand voice and campaign objectives
• Proofread and edit content to ensure it is error-free, polished and on-brand
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing
• Measure and report on the performance of content to continuously improve and optimise

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional content writer or copywriter
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a strong command of the English language
• Ability to create content that is engaging, informative and optimized for digital platforms
• Experience in writing for a range of audiences and personas
• Strong research and fact-checking skills
• Familiarity with content management systems and SEO best practices
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team
