Content Writer

The Ranking Geeks is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our content and digital marketing team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, engaging, and SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and other digital marketing assets. This role is suited for someone who can research topics independently, understand search intent, and turn information into useful, well-structured content.

Key Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, original, and engaging content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Create SEO-friendly content based on target keywords, search intent, and content briefs.
• Conduct topic and competitor research to develop accurate and useful content.
• Structure content using appropriate headings, formatting, internal linking, and relevant keywords.
• Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to understand content requirements and campaign objectives.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, readability, and consistency.
• Update and optimize existing content based on SEO requirements and performance insights.
• Adapt writing style and tone according to different brands, audiences, industries, and content requirements.
• Ensure all content is original, factually accurate, and aligned with established quality standards.
• Stay updated with SEO practices, content trends, and changes in search behavior.

Requirements

• 6 month to 2 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, SEO content writing, or a related field.
• Strong written English with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
• Good understanding of SEO content writing and on-page SEO fundamentals .
• Ability to conduct online research and turn complex information into clear, readable content.
• Understanding of keyword placement, search intent, headings, meta titles, and meta descriptions.
• Strong proofreading and editing skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple content assignments.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to improve through feedback.
• A portfolio or writing samples demonstrating previous work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a digital marketing or SEO agency .
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Docs, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar SEO tools .
• Basic understanding of content marketing and website optimization.
• Experience writing for international or US-based audiences is a plus.
