Breakfast Attendant

The Continental Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable breakfast experience for hotel guests. This position ensures the breakfast area is properly stocked, clean, organized, and maintained throughout service while providing friendly and attentive guest service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the continental breakfast area before guest service begins.
• Stock and maintain breakfast food, beverages, utensils, plates, cups, and other supplies.
• Monitor food levels throughout breakfast hours and replenish items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, tables, counters, floors, and equipment.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and health and safety procedures.
• Check food temperatures and ensure food is stored and handled appropriately.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist guests with questions regarding breakfast items and hotel amenities.
• Clear tables and clean dishes, utensils, and breakfast equipment throughout the service period.
• Properly clean and sanitize the breakfast area after service.
• Monitor expiration dates and rotate food supplies as needed.
• Report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, or supply shortages to management.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.

Work Schedule

This position typically requires early morning availability, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility in scheduling is important due to the nature of hotel operations.
