Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to support their independence and comfort
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring safety and enjoyment during mealtimes
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a friendly and engaging atmosphere
• Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe, hygienic living environment
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including toileting and transfers, while respecting their privacy and preferences
• Document care provided, observe changes in residents’ conditions, and communicate updates to the care team promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in senior care or caring for individuals with disabilities or dementia is advantageous
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
• Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate, patient attitude
• Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and residents
• Certification or training in home care or caregiving is a plus; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if required

Pay: From $24.90 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 40.0 per week
