Continuous Improvement Coordinator

We’re looking for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join our Operations team at AMK Peterborough , helping deliver projects that improve efficiency, reduce waste and strengthen quality and service across our site.

Reporting to the Head of Production , you’ll coordinate improvement projects across departments, tracking actions, timelines and progress to ensure changes are delivered effectively and sustained. You’ll lead smaller projects using Lean problem-solving tools , while supporting larger Green Belt and cross-functional initiatives.

You’ll analyse performance data to identify recurring issues, maintain project trackers and benefit records, facilitate improvement workshops and work closely with colleagues across the operation to implement practical solutions. You’ll also ensure improvements are properly trialled, documented and embedded, with benefits measured and verified.

We’re looking for someone with experience in manufacturing, production, logistics or a similar operational environment , with a practical approach to problem-solving and experience working with frontline teams. You’ll have knowledge of PDCA, A3 thinking, 5 Whys, visual management and standard work , alongside strong numerical, Excel and communication skills. A Lean / LCS Yellow Belt qualification or equivalent is required, while Green Belt, Power BI or experience with digital improvement systems would be advantageous.
