Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job Purpose

To drive and support Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives at both organizational and shop-floor levels by utilizing data-driven approaches and CI tools to enhance process performance in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Product and People Development (SQCDP) in a sustainable manner.

Key responsibilities

• Apply CI mindset and PDCA in daily work and projects
• Conduct root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone) and basic data analysis
• Develop project charter with clear problem, scope, and target
• Manage project timeline and risks
• Implement CI tools such as 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, VSM, and waste reduction tools
• Track and report CI project benefits and results
• Support CI workshops and improvement activities
• Support CI capability building through knowledge sharing, training support, and shop-floor coaching
• Ensure that workplace and working processes have complied with Company SHE standards
• Ensure processes and procedures standardization implemented with ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing or improvement-related roles
• Knowledge of CI/Lean/Basic Six Sigma/5S
• Problem solving and data analysis skills
• Communication and teamwork skills
