Continuous Improvement Engineer (RPS)

Location: Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato

At REHAU, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer (RPS) to support our operational excellence journey and drive sustainable improvements across manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.

• Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing methodologies and RPS standards throughout the plant.

• Facilitate Kaizen workshops and cross-functional improvement projects.

• Analyze operational KPIs and identify opportunities for process optimization.

• Support the implementation of standardized work, visual management, and problem-solving methodologies.

• Train and coach employees on continuous improvement tools and best practices.

• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, logistics, and maintenance teams to achieve performance objectives.

• Monitor project results and ensure sustainability of implemented improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.

• Experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Manufacturing Engineering.

• Knowledge of Lean tools such as:

• Kaizen

• 5S

• TPM

• SMED

• Value Stream Mapping (VSM)

• Root Cause Analysis

• A3 Problem Solving

• Experience leading improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• English proficiency (intermediate to advanced).

• Automotive industry experience is highly preferred.
