Continuous Improvement Consultant

We are seeking a Continuous Improvement & Quality Consultant to help small and mid-sized manufacturers in Connecticut improve productivity, quality, and overall competitiveness.

In this role, you’ll work directly with clients to identify business challenges, implement practical solutions, and deliver training and consulting services focused on continuous improvement, Lean, and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement, Lean, and quality consulting projects for manufacturing clients
• Deliver training programs and facilitate client engagements
• Partner with clients to identify challenges and develop practical solutions
• Recommend and implement improvements that streamline processes, increase productivity, and reduce costs
• Manage client projects, timelines, milestones, and Statements of Work
• Support the development and enhancement of continuous improvement and quality services
• Use strong communication, coaching, and consulting skills to promote a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing operations experience, preferably with a focus on process improvement, automation, or technology implementation
• Knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement, and quality methodologies
• Experience working with ISO quality standards in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certification is highly preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage projects and deliver results on time and within budget
• Ability to work independently and provide technical and process improvement guidance to clients
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is preferred
• Willingness to travel regularly to client manufacturing facilities throughout Connecticut
