Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and redesign end-to-end AP, AR and related finance processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, standardisation and control.
  • Lead automation and digitisation initiatives, including workflow automation, RPA, OCR, e-invoicing and finance system enhancements.
  • Manage improvement and technology projects end-to-end, from discovery and requirements through testing, implementation, stabilisation and benefits realisation.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs and performance insights that enable AP, AR and Credit leaders to identify opportunities and improve service performance.
  • Partner with Finance, Technology and business stakeholders to strengthen financial controls, improve data quality and address audit findings.
  • Lead change management and stakeholder engagement, ensuring new processes, systems and ways of working are understood, adopted and embedded.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of five, building capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and customer service.

Qualifications

You are a commercially minded continuous improvement professional who enjoys getting into the detail, challenging existing ways of working and turning improvement opportunities into measurable outcomes.

You will bring:

  • Strong experience within Shared Services, Finance Operations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Credit.
  • Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement, transformation or process excellence initiatives.
  • Strong end-to-end process analysis and re-engineering capability.
  • Experience delivering digital automation and finance technology improvements.
  • Exposure to ERP transformation, system migration or finance systems implementation.
  • Strong analytical capability and experience using data and KPIs to identify and measure improvements.
  • Proven project and change management capability.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across Finance, Technology and Operations.

Highly Regarded

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodology experience.
  • Experience with RPA, OCR, e-invoicing and workflow automation.
