Continuous Improvement Supervisor

Summary

We’re looking for a Continuous Improvement Supervisor to help drive operational excellence across our manufacturing facility. In this highly visible role, you’ll partner with Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, R&D, and other teams to identify opportunities, solve problems, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and build a strong culture of continuous improvement.

How YOU Will Contribute

• Identify opportunities to improve plant operational efficiency, including processes, methods, equipment, waste reduction, and cycle time.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the manufacturing process.
• Manage the plant’s Statistical Process Control (SPC) program, including process and slicer capability studies and giveaway analysis.
• Evaluate process capabilities and identify opportunities that support future growth.
• Champion 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities throughout the plant.
• Lead and support the plant’s Lean Six Sigma culture.
• Plan and lead Kaizen events and other improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the plant’s RedZone System Administrator, maintaining information related to people, products, forums, checks, and audits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Operations, Purchasing, R&D, and other teams to develop and implement solutions.
• Serve as a coach and resource for plant employees on continuous improvement tools, processes, and methodologies.
• Partner with job coaches to establish training procedures for new processes and equipment.

About YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, with meat industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization, statistical process control, and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience with Minitab.
• RedZone experience preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Statistical Process Control training or experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple plant functions.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15%, including local and overnight travel.
