What they need

About the role

As Contract Administrator, you will manage the administrative and commercial lifecycle of Veritech's contracts, subscriptions and service agreements.

Working closely with management, finance, sales, service delivery, suppliers and customers, you will help ensure contracts are accurately prepared, maintained, reviewed and administered, and that contractual obligations, renewals, variations and commercial commitments are properly managed.

The role requires sound judgement in interpreting contract terms, identifying commercial risks and coordinating contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparing, reviewing, maintaining and administering customer and supplier contracts, service agreements and associated documentation.
  • Reviewing contractual terms, schedules, pricing, service inclusions, renewal provisions and other commercial requirements.
  • Coordinating contract variations, amendments, extensions, renewals and terminations.
  • Administering the contractual aspects of customer subscriptions, including service inclusions, pricing, renewals and variations.
  • Maintaining an accurate central register of contracts, renewal dates, notice periods, pricing reviews and contractual commitments.
  • Monitoring upcoming contract milestones and ensuring required actions are completed within the appropriate timeframes.
  • Responding to customer, supplier and internal enquiries relating to contracts and agreements.
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies between contracts, quotations, orders, invoices and services being provided.
  • Coordinating with management and relevant team members to ensure contractual obligations and agreed service requirements are understood and met.
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding contractual documentation, variations, renewals and outstanding requirements.
  • Ensuring contract documentation and records are complete, accurate, current and appropriately authorised.
  • Preparing contract summaries, reports and information for management.
  • Identifying contractual matters requiring management attention and assisting with implementation of resulting decisions.
  • Assisting with the continual improvement of Veritech's contract administration processes, templates and systems.

About you

  • Experience in contract administration, commercial administration, procurement, project administration or a related role.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret contracts and commercial documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
  • Strong written English communication skills.
  • Confidence dealing professionally with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Good numerical and commercial awareness.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information and potential problems rather than simply processing documents.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for seeing tasks through to completion.

Experience within technology, managed services, telecommunications, professional services or another contract-driven business environment would be highly regarded.

About us

Veritech is an established Australian technology services company providing managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure and technology consulting services to businesses and organisations across regional Australia. For more than 30 years, we have built our business around long-term client relationships, technical capability and delivering practical technology outcomes.

The Person We're Looking For

The successful person will be someone who:

  • Pays attention to the details. You notice when a price, date, term or condition doesn't match.
  • Takes ownership. If something isn't right, you don't simply pass it on—you follow it through until it is resolved.
  • Is commercially aware. You understand that contracts create real financial and operational commitments for both Veritech and our customers.
  • Communicates clearly. You can explain contractual and administrative matters professionally to customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Works systematically. You maintain accurate records, manage deadlines and don't rely on memory to ensure important actions occur.
  • Looks for better ways of working. You identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce administrative risk and make contract management more efficient.

Other offers great for you!
