Contract Administrator

Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator / Project Manager to deliver a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong contract administration experience and a proven track record delivering capital works programs within local government, utilities or infrastructure environments.
Reporting to the relevant Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from planning and procurement through to construction, completion and handover.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of civil infrastructure and capital works projects
• Administer construction contracts including AS4000 and AS2124
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and key stakeholders
• Manage project budgets, forecasts and expenditure
• Assess variations, progress claims and contractor performance
• Prepare reports, project documentation and procurement activities
• Monitor project risks, quality, safety and compliance outcomes
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

About You
To be successful, you will possess:

• Experience managing civil infrastructure or capital works projects
• Strong contract administration experience within construction environments
• Knowledge of AS4000, AS2124 or similar contract frameworks
• Experience managing contractors, consultants and stakeholders
• Strong budgeting, reporting and project governance skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
• Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management
• Local Government experience highly regarded
