Contract Analyst

Location: Houston, TX

Schedule: Monday–Thursday in office | Friday remote

We are hiring a Contract Analyst to support contract administration and compliance for a leading energy company in Houston.

This role focuses on managing contracts after execution and ensuring contractual requirements, deadlines, deliverables, and changes are properly tracked and documented.

Responsibilities:

• Review executed contracts and track contractual obligations

• Monitor contract milestones, deadlines, renewals, and deliverables

• Review weekly reports and invoice transmittals

• Manage contract notices and ensure requirements are communicated on time

• Coordinate RFIs and maintain proper documentation

• Support the change order process, including reviews and approvals

• Identify contract compliance issues and escalate when needed

• Maintain accurate contract records and documentation

• Work closely with Legal, Supply Chain, Project Execution, and Operations

• Support audits and regulatory reviews

• Help improve contract administration and compliance processes

Qualifications:

• Experience in contract administration, contract analysis, or contract management

• Energy industry experience required

• Experience in Midstream, EPC, Upstream, Oil & Gas, or Pipeline environments

• Understanding of contract terms, obligations, and change management

• Experience with RFIs, change orders, notices, invoices, and contract documentation

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work with multiple internal teams and stakeholders
