Contract Consulting P&C Actuary

We're supporting a new specialty carrier and seeking a contract FCAS with P&C expertise to:

• Write innovative/emerging-tech lines on a mostly non-admitted basis. Products focus on parametric coverage on data center hardware depreciation, financial lines (D&O, E&O, PI) and data center business interruption.
• Work scope over the next 6 months includes pricing/rate framework development for lines with limited loss history, a reserving framework (UPR, premium deficiency, IBNR methodology), and annual reserve analysis with a signed opinion.
• Seeking a credentialed P&C actuary to lead the technical work as a subcontractor, including opinion-level work down the road.

This is a startup carrier writing novel products with thin data... interesting, well-paid work, but it requires someone genuinely comfortable with first-principles pricing, well-documented assumptions, and knowing where their professional line sits.
