Contract Developer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or Java, with knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, with familiarity with technologies such as jQuery and AJAX.
• Experience with SQL databases and database-driven applications.
• Familiarity with C# and .NET development.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of web development, including front-end and back-end development concepts.
• Experience with unit testing and software quality practices.
• Familiarity with XML and other common data formats.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and tools, including Copilot Studio.
• Familiarity with using APIs from major Large Language Model (LLM) providers is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to complete a technical assessment as part of the recruitment process.

Job Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications based on project requirements and business needs.
• Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following established development standards.
• Develop and integrate APIs and other software components as required by the project.
• Work with databases and ensure reliable data handling within applications.
• Participate in code reviews and apply software development best practices.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to help ensure application quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with other developers, project stakeholders, and relevant teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of AI/ML-enabled solutions where applicable.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Pay: Up to Php30,000.00 per month
