Contract Engineer

Note : 2 years contract basis

Requirement

• The jobholder should hold a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering discipline or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the oil and gas industry particularly, in contract administration works throughout all project phases from Appraise to Execute.
• Experience in establish and maintain ITB and contract templates for project services and supply contracts.
• Ability to coordinates development and review of scopes of work, contract terms and related documents to meet deadlines in the contracting process.
• Ability to perform commercial bid evaluation, conduct negotiations and administration of contracts awards and contract amendments.
• Experience in performing contract administration works on all Contracts, Purchase Orders and Service Orders.
• Demonstrate capability to evaluate and negotiate contractor claims, change orders as well as other contractual conflicts and disputes.
• Ability to draft and prepare commercial correspondence to contractors.
• Strong knowledge in managing contract progress payment, review, code and approve contractor and supplier invoices.
• Ability to prepare periodic contractor evaluation and performance reports. Verify and process all invoices and claims with the Project Engineer.
• Knowledge of the Malaysian Law, PTS and PETRONAS Tendering Process, Procedures and Guidelines.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills including oral and written reporting and organization management. Ability to draft and prepare commercial correspondence to contractors.
