Contract Executive (QS)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review project cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documents.
• Coordinate tender exercises, evaluate contractors’ quotations and prepare tender comparison reports.
• Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Review and verify contractors’ progress claims, interim payments and final accounts.
• Evaluate variation orders (VO), additional works and contractual claims.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal departments on contractual and cost matters.
• Monitor project costs, prepare cost reports and assist in cost control throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, contract administration or property development.
• Experience in tendering, cost estimation, progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, measurement methods and cost control procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS software; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good negotiation, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
