What they need
About Us
Achievable Milestones Inc is a NYS-approved Early Intervention agency proudly supporting children from birth through age three. We believe early support changes lifelong outcomes — and we empower our providers with the tools and team they need to thrive in achieving those milestones.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) to serve as our ABA Clinical Supervisor on a contractual (1099) basis. This is a unique opportunity to help launch and shape our Early Intervention ABA program from the ground up — providing clinical supervision, developing individualized behavior and skill-acquisition programs, and mentoring interventionists who serve infants and toddlers (birth–3) in their homes and natural community settings. If you're passionate about early childhood, family-centered ABA, and building quality clinical systems, we'd love to talk. We service all five boroughs (Nassau & Westchester expanding).
Skills & Qualifications
- Licensure & Credentials (Required): Active New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in good standing — required (the NYS LBA license is mandatory to practice applied behavior analysis in New York). Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) strongly preferred. Eligibility as NYS Early Intervention Qualified Personnel.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum two (2) years of ABA experience providing and supervising services; Early Intervention, birth–3, and/or home-based experience strongly preferred.
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong command of naturalistic and structured ABA approaches (NET/NDBI, DTT, Verbal Behavior, PRT, FCT) and standardized assessment tools (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, ADOS-2, ESDM), plus positive-behavior-support planning.
- Non-Aversive Practice: Full commitment to positive behavior supports and the strict prohibition of aversive techniques.
- Supervision & Leadership: Proven ability to supervise and mentor interventionists, review data, and ensure treatment fidelity and regulatory compliance.
- Documentation & Systems: Comfort with digital data-collection/documentation platforms, NYS Policy 6K session notes / 6L progress reports, and EI documentation standards.
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills to coach families and collaborate with Service Coordinators and multidisciplinary teams (OT, PT, SLP, SI).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision and overlap (in-person and secure virtual) for ABA interventionists, adapting frequency to provider experience.
- Program Development: Conduct/oversee baseline assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, ADOS-2) and FBAs; develop individualized ABA programs and Positive Behavior Support Plans aligned to each child's IFSP outcomes.
- Family-Centered Coaching: Partner with parents/caregivers, integrating strategies into daily routines and securing family sign-off on program plans.
- Data & Quality Assurance: Review data and progress regularly, modify programs as needed, and oversee ABA quality assurance and documentation compliance prior to billing.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure adherence to NYS DOH/NYC BEI standards, BACB ethics, and the agency's non-aversive-technique policy; serve as the agency's registered ABA Supervisor with NYC BEI.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the Program Director, Service Coordinators, and other disciplines to support cohesive, family-centered care.
What We Offer
- Flexible Contractual Schedule: Design your own hours around your other commitments.
- Highly Competitive Rates: Premium compensation for supervisory expertise, with flexible pay structures (see below).
- Program-Building Impact: Shape a new EI ABA program and clinical standards from the start.
- Full Admin Support: Dedicated back-office team for onboarding, mandates, and logistics.
- Growth Potential: Expand your role as our ABA caseload grows across NYC, Nassau, & Westchester.
