Contract Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to join the dynamic team at Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this contract role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's construction contracts, ensuring they are executed efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

What you'll be doing

1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts with various stakeholders
2. Monitoring contract performance and ensuring all parties adhere to the agreed terms and conditions
3. Identifying and resolving any contractual issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner
4. Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to all contracts
5. Providing regular reports and updates on contract status to senior management
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery
7. Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in contract management

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the construction industry
2. Strong understanding of contract law and the ability to interpret and apply contract terms
3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
4. Proficient in using contract management software and tools
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Degree in Law, Business, or a related field
