Contract Manager

Role Description The Contract Manager at Eco Garden Construct London will oversee the end-to-end management of construction and landscaping contracts for projects based in London and UK. This full-time, on-site role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure clarity, compliance, and risk mitigation. The Contract Manager will monitor contract performance, track milestones, manage variations and claims, and ensure that project delivery aligns with contractual obligations, budgets, and timelines. The role includes collaborating closely with project managers, site managers, procurement, and finance teams to resolve issues, maintain accurate documentation, and support decision-making. The Contract Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement of contract processes, support audits, and uphold legal and regulatory standards relevant to construction and environmental projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in contract management, administration, and negotiation within construction, engineering, or related industries.
• Strong skills in contract drafting, review, and risk assessment, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret legal and technical language.
• Proficiency in project coordination, planning, and stakeholder communication, including collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage documentation, maintain accurate records, and use digital tools or contract management software effectively.
• Solid understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to construction and environmental projects in UK.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on resolving disputes and preventing issues proactively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Agriculture or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in London, and collaborate effectively in a dynamic, project-driven environment.
• Experience with sustainability-focused or eco-friendly construction projects is an advantage.
