🚀 SRG is Hiring: Industrial Contracts Manager | Kilkenny | Permanent

SRG is looking for an Industrial Contracts Manager to join a leading environmental services organisation in Ireland. This is a great opportunity for an engineering professional from the water or wastewater sector who wants to step into a senior, client-facing leadership role.

📍 Location: Kilkenny, Ireland (Open to elsewhere and for them to work hybrid with circa one day in the office a week) - Car/Van will be provided.

🌍 About the Role

You will be the key link between the business and its clients, making sure water and wastewater contracts are delivered to a high standard. You will support contract management across multiple operational sites, drive operational efficiency and build strong client relationships, all while keeping quality, safety and environmental compliance front and centre.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Water / National General Manager and Plant Managers on existing Operate & Maintain (O&M), metering and other contracts
• Assist with estimating, pricing and quantity surveying on contract variations
• Support project teams on process improvements and client-specific projects
• Evaluate contractor performance after project completion
• Support the rollout of company procedures and initiatives
• Support sites and teams in implementing quality and safety management systems (e.g. LRQA-audited standards)
• Manage and develop direct reports: set objectives, run performance reviews, coach and mentor
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across operational sites
• Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and best practice
• Act as the primary client contact on all contract-related matters
• Prepare monthly client reports with Plant Managers and team leads
• Support accurate client billing
• Present performance metrics and operational updates in client review meetings
• Negotiate contract variations and commercial positions that work for both company and client
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures

🎯 What We're Looking For

• Level 7/8 degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in the water / wastewater industry
• Supervisory or management experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluent English
