Job Title: Contract Manager - Vendor Management

Location: Boston, MA or New York, NY (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite)

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Summary

Seeking a Contract Manager with 5-7 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or commercial contracting within the investment, asset management, fund administration, or financial services industry .

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, amendments, data privacy, and security agreements.
• Manage vendor relationships and contract renewals.
• Partner with Legal, Procurement, Risk, and business stakeholders.
• Resolve contract disputes, invoicing issues, and performance concerns.
• Track contract milestones, renewals, licensing usage, and spend commitments.

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years of commercial contract management experience.
• Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.
• Investment or asset management industry experience.
• Knowledge of data privacy, information security, and third-party risk requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Market data and investment platforms such as Bloomberg, MSCI, AlphaSense, PitchBook, Morningstar, eFront, S&P Global, Dow Jones, and Wall Street Office .
• Asset management, fund administration, market data licensing, and software/vendor contracts.
• Experience with Bain Capital, HarbourVest, Advent International, Ares, or similar investment firms is a plus.
