Contract Manager

Job Responsibility

• Pre-Contract Management: Prepare, review, and evaluate tender documents, bill of quantities (BQ), commercial bids, and contract terms.
• Post-Contract Administration: Handle interim valuations, progress claims, variations (VOs), extension of time (EOT) applications, and final accounts.
• Contractual & Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to standard local construction forms and statutory regulations like the CIDB Act.
• Risk & Claim Management: Identify commercial risks, manage disputes, draft legal or contractual correspondence, and protect company margins.
• Supply Chain & Subcontractor Control: Assist in awarding sub-contracts, monitor performance guarantees, and track insurance and supplier ledgers.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management, preferably having prior experience in infrastructure works and JPS related project(s)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in construction management software and tools.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.

Pay: RM5,100.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
