Contract Manager (Polish + German/French)

Currently, we are looking for a Contract Manager with strong contracting expertise and solid knowledge of the Polish market. You will join our Sourcing Excellence team in Slovakia. In this role, you will lead the contract facilitation process for a global client. You will guide a team of contract facilitators and work closely with Legal, the business and suppliers.

What you will do

• Lead the contract facilitation process and oversee 20+ contracts at any given time
• Serve as the primary escalation point for approximately 5 Sourcing Excellence contract facilitators on templates, redlines, contract terms and other process items
• Support timely contract execution with appropriate legal oversight, ensuring compliance with company standards
• Coordinate redlines and negotiation strategies with Legal, other stakeholders and suppliers
• Ensure written guidelines are followed and that subject matter expert input is obtained, for example on privacy, finance, international and domestic taxation, customs and trade, information security, systems quality and software asset management
• Collaborate with the client’s Legal team to develop and maintain contract templates, fallback positions and guidance
• Identify escalation points and connect Sourcing Excellence with Legal, Compliance, Audit and other stakeholders on contracting and procurement policy questions
• Ensure clear thresholds and hand-offs between the Business, Legal and other involved parties
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive excellence and continuous improvement in contract management
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including Procurement leadership, Sourcing Excellence leads and the client’s Legal teams
• Take part in training for professional development and further growth of contracting skills

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in contract management or contracting, ideally in procurement, sourcing or a legal environment
• Hands-on experience with redlining, negotiating terms and working with contract templates and fallback positions
• Strong knowledge of the Polish market
• Fluent Polish (must-have)
• Fluent German and/or French
• Very good English
• Ability to guide and support a team and act as an escalation point
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, plus a structured and detail-oriented way of working
• Based in Slovakia
