Contract Manager (Post-contracts)

We are looking to hire a Contract Manager (Post Contracts) who will be responsible managing activities related to contract administration in accordance with contractual requirements and policies f or our client based Dubai- which is one of the largest companies in the region .

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage post-contract administration and commercial management activities in accordance with contractual requirements and company policies
• Prepare budgetary cost advice and accurate cost estimates for projects
• Issue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors, prepare bid summaries and support procurement activities
• Provide contractual and commercial advice to safeguard the organisation's interests
• Prepare order of magnitude estimates, cost plans, value engineering assessments and cost analyses
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the design and delivery lifecycle
• Manage tendering processes, contractor evaluations, contract awards and procurement activities
• Review bills of quantities, contractor valuations, variations, claims, contractual notices and payment recommendations
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines to ensure efficient project delivery
• Prepare management reports and maintain effective commercial and contractual governance

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 12 years' experience within developers/project management consultancies within GCC region.
• Minimum 4 years experience in a managerial level.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial management and claims administration
• Experience across residential, infrastructure and building projects
• Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, stakeholder management and analytical skills
